First diagnosed in February 2021. Gleason 8 with 3 mets. Radiation + enzalutamide (initially 160 then down to 120 then 80 to reduce side effects. Zolodox every 3 months. Bloods every 6 weeks. PSA to start 64; now 3.5 years at undetectable. Feel good and not so tired after reduced enza. Fairly strong and fit. Age 71. Urologist gave me 5 years - I think he will be proved wrong. I am reckoning 12 which would be enough for me. 😃  Thank you NHS Cumbria & Newcastle. Excellent.

That's excellent news!

I'm also in the 'exceeding the prognosis' club, I was told 3 to 5 years when I was diagnosed back in January 2019, six years ago.  I had just over 2 years on enzalutamide, while taking it I thought I was fine but when I stopped (it wasn't being effective in keeping my PSA suppressed) I did have more energy and felt less tired.

Keep on keeping on:  as Deckard (Harrison Ford) says in the voiceover in the film Blade Runner, 'We didn't know how long we had together. Who does?'
