Tb3 N1 Gleeson 4+5 PSA35

February  23 Large tumour 4cm Tb3 N1 Gleeson 9 PSA 35.

Treatment Prostap then changed to Degarelix,  20 doses of radiation.

February 25 PSA undetectable finish treatments and monitor PSA .

Hope this gives hope to anyone in a similar situation,  I was down with my initial diagnosis so wanted to share to encourage people to keep going and be optimistic.

I was told OK now unless PSA >3.

Best wishes everyone

                                     Mike.

Thanks so much for posting Mike. My husband is midway through his radiotherapy, and is another Gleason 9 (4+5), T3b, so this is massively encouraging for us!! Enjoy your celebrations!!! 🥳

Had little or no hope when first given diagnosis so want to stop anyone else feeling the same.

Did you have chemo?

User

No Chemo .

I did. I was T3b N1 M0 PSA 252.

My PSA is now undetectable but I’m not having another hormone jab in March when it’s due.

They want to know whether the cancer is just suppressed, or gone.

I dreading this year.

oncologist told me no concern now unlesss PSA >3 and to expect it to rise as hormone injections wear off .
