That was weird and unexpected ( in a good way!!)

Last year I went through the whole process of suspected prostate cancer.  PSA was about 3.8 and I had pirad 5 score from the MRI.

After 2 biopsies it turns out I was clear, woo hoo!!

That's not the strange thing though....

As part of the follow up I've had another MRI and a PSA test recently. I got the results today and was as nervous as you'd expect.

Turns out I now have a PSA of 2.8, also the lump on my prostate has now gotten smaller!!

The consultant was as amazed as I was.  The general consensus was that I may have had an infection and not a growth.

Bit weird but very good news indeed!!
