Hi Everyone,
My name’s Emma and I’m a Health Information Officer at Prostate Cancer UK. If you’ve had external beam radiotherapy, we’d really like to hear about your experience.
Why?
Reading about other men’s experiences can help men who are going through the same thing now. We want to hear about anything you feel is important to share, such as what you did to prepare for the treatment, what you wished you’d known at the time, what the emotional and physical impact was, and any other advice you have. We also want to hear about how you are now, and what’s next for you.
What will it involve?
I will email you a series of questions to think about two weeks before we meet. We will then have a chat via online video (Zoom) or over the phone. The chat will take about an hour. I will then use the interview to write a case study of your story, which will be uploaded as part of our real-life stories section on the website.
