Pads & Pants

I had my RP on 3rd March 2025 and catheter removal had to be delayed due enormous swelling of the scrotum (think Buster Gonads of Viz fame - nobody told me that could happen!). Catheter finally removed after about 3 weeks so I am now getting to grips with bladder control & Squeezy.

During the day, I am using various makes of pads supported my M&S Y-fronts, which I am not getting on with - not enough support and consequent sagging when pad is filling up. The various suppliers only seem to offer pants with integral pads or pads themselves . Does anyone have a recommendation of suitable underwear to support a pad comfortably?

I have tried some pants made of lightweight netting from Amazon, but they are not ideal. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Have you tried trunk style briefs? They're elasticated, are a snug fit and offer some support.

As for your swollen scrotum, it reminds me of when mine did the same, it was the size of a grapefruit for a few days.

Hope this helps.

Kev.

I used Oddballs trunk style they were perfect for holding the pads.

For heavy pads, tight fitting trunks are far better than briefs or easy fitting trunks. I am a small guy and used small size stretch trunks from Primark and they were fine. Large enough for the Tena 3 to fit without sticking out and tight enough not to sag.

Thank you gentlemen, all very useful stuff.

Kev, funnily enough grapefruit is the word I used to describe my condition over the phone. All better now.
