Hi

Hubby diagnosed Dec 24 T3b/n1/m0 psa 451 (now 11 after first injection ) all pelvic lymph nodes involved.   Treatment plan treating as oligometastatic prostap injections, apalutamide and 6 sessions of radiotherapy (possibly sabr to prostate only due to position of lymph nodes rectal and bladder) .  My question is should he also not receive chemotherapy ? Obviously I will also question this on next oncology visit thank you

Certainly worth asking why not, are they waiting until they see what the SABR does maybe? Hopefully they will also be zapping those malignant nodes.

The lymph nodes in this area can cause negative effects. You should consult your doctor at your next visit.

No to lymph nodes as out of radical radiotherapy area and risk of damage because of where they are positioned 😔
