Variation in LUTS. Normal for prostate cancer?

hi just wondering, I’ve recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer all be a lymphoma type and was wondering if other people find the severity of their LUTS constantly changes.

I think I’ve noticed a pattern. I can go through a period of about a month when my symptoms are getting up once a night and needing to go to the loo during the day about once an hour. But then after this period I start to get a sensitive almost itchy tip of my penis and this is followed by a slowing down of my urine stream. To the point of a very slow trickle at night meaning I have to get up five or six times through the night. Frequency during the day increases to about every 15 minutes. Urinating feels uncomfortable and slightly stingy when getting rid of the last few drops.Frequency affects my bowels as well. And I feel a heaviness in my perineum area which is probably my prostate pushing down. Makes it very hard to sit especially on harder surfaces.

incidentally I haven’t started treatment yet, but this is a pattern that I’ve noticed for about the last couple of years. Does anybody else have a similar pattern? Is it the way prostate cancerworks? Or could it be prostate cancer aggravated bysomething like chronic prostatitis?
