PSA return following HT/RT

I just got my latest PSA test result 0.1, previously it was <0.1.

its 2 years since I finished RT and 1 year since my last Prostap injection.

My Testosterone is 6.5(private test) so in the normal range.

My GP has written to the oncologist but no idea why as I would have though it’s to be expected seeing as I still have a prostate🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m just wondering how quickly after finishing treatment other members saw there PSA start to rise from their nadir, if at all.

I was on ADT for 3yrs (Zoladex plus couple yrs abiraterone, enzalutimide, prednisolone on trial) with 32 sessions of RT. My treatment finished summer 2018 & my Nadir was 0.5 which I think was circa 2yrs after ADT finished (Ishould check) & testosterone was pretty good.
Since then PSA has not risen above 0.5 and has fallen slightly several times. If PSA gets to 2.5 it'll be checked etc.
I dont know whether you have reached your Nadir yet, may be a bit soon?I'm sure you know the hormone stuff can take quite a while to disappear, your testosterone has a bit to go yet?suggesting the prostap still having an effect?
Peter

To add - my testosterone was 20.4 in Dec 2020, PSA 0.5, think this was my Nadir date etc.

2 years on Zoladex.

Testosterone returned between 10-12 months after last Zoladex ran out.
PSA returned 12-18 months after last Zoladex ran out.

If you still have a prostate, it's normal for PSA to rise to a new stable level, with about a 3 month lag behind Testosterone returning.
