Thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself ☺️

67 year old and diagnosed with a Stage T2, Gleason 3+4 in March. Had a RARP on 9th April so I'm currently approaching the surgery+6 week point. My education has advanced rapidly due to places like this so thank you to all that have willingly shared their experiences. 👍 I am more than happy to reciprocate.

Hi

welcome to the club where we are all reluctant members !

We had a similar diagnosis and I had surgery at the End of January.

I hope that you get good news from your surgeon at the 6 weeks and 12 weeks milestones .

You will find a lot of good information on here .Good luck with the continence and ED.

Stay positive

👍

Hi Sane Prostate

I had RARP 14 years ago following my diagnosis very similar to yours!  Surgery techniques have improved a lot since then so you can be optimistic about your recovery. Here to help if you need to chat as I have some experience of the side effects etc.

Good luck
