I have recurring prostate cancer and 9months ago was put on hormone therapy, could that be the reason that my testicles are going black plus a few black spots?

Hi Devonroy - not a medical expert but I have not heard of Hormone Therapy causing black spots on testicles. I wonder if you have some blood pooling or something like that. Get it checked out and would be good to hear an up-date when you have more information.

Hi again Roy.

I'm sorry to hear about your problem, mate. I haven't got a clue what might be the cause, you'd probably do best to contact your GP.

By the way, has your frequent urinating at night got any better?

I don't want in anyway to make light of your current concern, but this tale might make you smile.

Following a very tricky prostatectomy, a bloke's lying in bed in hospital, wearing an oxygen mask. A young student nurse is passing by and he calls out from behind the mask "Nurse, are my testicles black?"

Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I'm sorry, I don't know." He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, please check for me. Are my testicles black?"

Concerned that it may be as a result of his operation she raises his gown and holds his testicles gently, checking all around very closely and finally says, "There's nothing wrong with them, they look fine."

The man slowly pulls off his oxygen mask and says "Thank you very much for that. Now, please listen very, closely: are my test results back?!"

Not uncommon immediately after biopsy and other prostate surgery.

If that's not the explanation, definitely wants checking.
