Possibly not the right area so admins, do feel free to move it to another area?

Ok, have just reached the ripe old age of 65 and on my last Decapeptyl jab the nurse said, "You can have a pneumonia and shingles jab now". Said I would check with consultant beforehand for any contraindications. Anyone one here found any unwanted side effects from these jabs whilst on Decapeptyl and Enzalutamide? Will look at getting them a week apart anyway just in case of reaction to one of them...

I've had pneumonia jabs [a series] and a couple of shingles jabs while on Zoladex. Not exactly the same I know but at age 77 they had no side effects.

A little bonus of the shingles jabs is that they've been found to reduce rates of dementia [later] for those who've taken them.

Just to say, I think there's quite a small window when you can have the Shingles jab at 65. If you miss it, you can't have it until you're 70-75. So don't hang around if you want it.
