Incontinent devices

I know that this subject has been raised before, however there needs to be more pressure to find a product that is more effective than those presently on the market.

From my research, it seems that Dribble Stop is the most effective device on the market to date, however a simple improvement to this style of device, in the form of a small bridge on the lower arm of the clamp, that aligns with the urethra and thus exerts pressure on it would make a device that is both comfortable and effective. I've investigated, and used several clamp designs and come to the conclusion that it needs to have adjustable clamps at both ends, products that hinge at one end and clamp at the other end do not exert even pressure across the penis.

There must be a solution to the need for a better product, and I suspect that many men would be happy to engage in trials and research.

John , I have no evidence or medical qualifications, but I was always concerned that clamping the penis could do some damage. I am sure you are right that there is a need for better products. The sheath system is good but a bit fiddly, the funnel system doesn't use adhesive but does tend to leak.

Thanks Chris
