Hi everyone,
My name is Jack Carr and I’m a PhD student at Coventry University. I’m currently running a research study focused on improving how men from minority ethnic backgrounds are supported through prostate cancer care, particularly when it comes to exercise and physical activity.
This project has full ethical approval from both the NHS and Coventry University, and it’s all about representing people who are currently underrepresented. We know that research studies and clinical trials often don’t reflect the full diversity of the UK, and I’m hoping to help change that by hearing directly from people whose voices haven’t been heard enough.
I’m looking to speak with:
Men aged 18+
From a minority ethnic background
Who have been diagnosed with, or are undergoing treatment for, prostate cancer
Participation involves a single confidential interview/ focus group (in person or online), and participants will receive a small voucher as a thank you for their time.
If this sounds like something you or someone you know might be interested in, I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to comment below or send me a direct message via my email address, and I can share more details.

Thank you so much, and I am sending my best wishes to everyone in this incredible community.
