VACUUM PUMP BUT NO ERECTION

I have been using the prescribed pump since FEB, my op was in Sept 2024, but had the catheta in for 5-6 weeks after due to complications.

To be honest sex mas NOT on my mind last year but over the past few weeks the desire is there and the pump does increase the size ofmy penis but is no way near an erection, its pointing at the floor at all times.

I tried the viagra the doc prescribed and even watch a mucky video or 2 but no success, i did explain this at my last consultation and he is going to arrange  injections.

So my question is has anyone been using the pump for for 5-6 months with no success then suddenly 1 day everything seems to be all systems go.

The only thing i havent tried is some stimulation from Mrs Arthur!!!

Arthur, my experience, even with a full swelling using the pump or injection, I can't hang my hat on my penis. I have posted that stimulation helps the  swelling when using the injections, but others have contradicted my experience. I also find that I can get a useable swelling use it and then get a better swelling after the event. So don't put yourself under any pressure to perform. We mastered the technique of flaccid intercourse, look it up.

Just to add I was supposedly non nerve sparing.

Thanks Chris

The pump will give you a hard penis if you use it correctly but it can never be described as an erection because the rubber band needed to keep it pumped up creates a hinge effect. Also the band cannot maintain pressure in the parts of the cavernosa that are in the root of your penis. Again this limits erection to more of a limp sausage.

The injections will hopefully restore your manhood and they do work on the whole dick without creating a hinge point.

PS sex is perfectly feasible with a pump and ring, it just takes a lot of technique to create and use the limp sausage.

Arthur, the key thing here is perseverance, not to give up. I know this is easier said than done, however this is precisely where I was at 1yr post surgery. I thought my "intercourse" so bought myself a strap-on. However thanks to a member on here who shared their video and perseverance, I can now use the pump and up and running in a few minutes. Like you probably, soon as I stopped pumping, I lost the little erection I got. I still use the 5mg Cialis daily as well..So don't give up.

I don't really get a decent errection even with a pump but with the help of my friend Sammy the Octupus can climax .

Check on ebay Vibrating Penis Head Massager Male £12.90 , worth a try , mine works on very little to work on .

Best wishes

Mike

Arthur

This person has much knowledge of ED pumps https://community.prostatecanceruk.org/profile/13373-Pratap-Mehta

It might be worth contacting him for advice .

I do believe that a Medical Grade pump is necessary to generate sufficient Vacuum for a sufficiently hard erection that can be maintained with a cock ring.

Best Regards

John

Arthur - I want to echo the other guys on here. Keep working at it and you will get there. I am one year post non-nerve sparing and it was almost a year before I got an erection outside of the vacuum pump. There are plenty of places that tell you the basic mechanics but no one tells you it all! I won't lie, I tried all kinds of ways to keep the hard on but never realised the damn ring goes on the outside of the pump. Once I was told to warm up the ring and then it expands more easily to go over the pump and at last it can slip on and keep me hard! My wife was so delighted to see her friend back.

It is not a full hard on, as others say. However I can do all the positions with just a little bit of dropping out, which we both just laugh at and get back to it. While you are still perfecting the hard on please don't overlook your partners needs!
