I was diagnosed with prostate cancer Gleason 3+3 with PSA 6.6 in July 2024. After biopsy PSA Oct 10.5. The lesion was 3mm diameter. MRI July 2025 shows lesion is now 10mm current PSA 9.9. Can a Gleason 3+3 still grow and remain as 3+3? I am 77 years of age.

Hi Trapper,
Welcome to the forum.
Yes, a Gleason 6 (3+3) tumour can grow. Have they decided to do another biopsy?

Hello Adrian,
The last one made me feel crap for weeks. I see Consultant on 26th to discuss options. They are offering to do biopsy under anaesthetic this time, whether that will help or not, I’m unsure.
