Mrs Worry, the British association of urology surgeons, used to be the place to go but I think they stopped publishing their outcomes.

Thanks Chris

Yes, BAUS took all the data off their website a couple of years ago.

It's disgraceful really. You can get umpteen reviews on most tradesmen but when it comes to finding out anything about the competency of the person operating on you, it's pretty much a shot in the dark.

The Royal College of Surgeons say:

The government in 2013 made a commitment to produce individual surgeons’ outcome data, from national clinical audits. In 2013, the Royal College of Surgeons published the first set of consultant outcomes and the surgical profession has now released consultant outcomes data for the second consecutive year. This process is being overseen by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) and involves the College and surgical specialty associations.

BAUS say:

Data collection for nephrectomy, radical prostatectomy, cystectomy, PCNL and urethroplasty closed on 31 December 2019. Summary data is available on request. Individual surgeons and unit level outcomes data is no longer published on this website
