The Boys need Bins

Coming back from a family holiday a couple of weeks ago we all stopped at South Mimms services for a toilet break, partly because they'd closed the M25!.

I was very happy to see a Prostate Cancer UK branded pad bin in the normal male cubicle I'd gone in. A couple of years ago I probably wouldn't have given it a second glance.

However going through RT/HT and reading all the stories on here of you guys who have gone the RALP route I know how nice it would be to see these.

Well done Prostate Cancer UK!

Hi John.

In the Club where I drink, we've got a PCUK pad bin, but I wish they'd put in in in the gents rather than at the end of the bar. (Only joking 😁)

The Club has raised hundreds of pounds for PCUK. Perhaps the charity sent us one as a thank you.

John that is excellent, and something I haven't seen. (Haven't been through South Mimms recently!)

But as someone who continues to need pads 9 years after RARP (and subsequent SRT) it would be something I appreciate. My strategy is to use a nappy-bag to put the old pad in, and one of those dropped into a regular bin doesn't look out of the ordinary. (To be fair I mostly go through the whole day with a single pad, but some days I do need to change).
