Hi Nesty.
Your PSA is elevated and is normally under 3.5 for someone your age.
Your prostate is slightly enlarged and is normally about 30 cc for someone your age.
The enlargement could be the cause of your higher PSA.
Its obviously great news that your MRI scan is clear.
I believe, from some of your other posts, that your dad, when in his late forties, was diagnosed with prostate cancer. This slightly increases the risk to you. In your position, I'd ensure my PSA was regularly monitored.
I had similar symptoms to you. I had an enlarged prostate, elevated PSA and had regular PSA checks. I was on Tamsulosin for several years. It helped a lot and I had no side effects
According to the NHS, Tamsulosin helps to reduce the symptoms of an enlarged prostate gland by relaxing the muscle around the bladder and prostate gland so you can pee more easily.
I hope Tamsulosin helps you. Good luck, mate.👍
