Prostate Cancer UK - LGBT Network

In the latest volunteer newsletter from Prostate Cancer UK (November 2025) I received the other day it mentions that they have three people networks, one which is of interest to me and others in this group which is called The Pride Network.

Does anyone have information about this network, what it does, where it meets, how often it meets etc?

It says its to support and celebrate people from the LGBT+ Communities.

Hi Henry54

Thanks for your post. I just wanted to let you know that the people networks you mention are part of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) policy for staff at Prostate cancer. There’s a link to this policy on the webpage the volunteer newsletter is hosted on. However, it doesn’t currently extend to volunteers. We are looking at how we support all volunteers and are committed to making opportunities and services accessible and inclusive. Please don’t hesitate to contact our team directly for anything connected to volunteering (volunteer@prostatecanceruk,org)  and keep an eye on the newsletters for ways to feed into discussions through the Volunteer Panel.

Best Wishes
