Hi. I had my Prostatectomy in Feb 2023 and started on 3 monthly Prostrap injections. Unfortunately I have had very strong and numerous hot flushes each day as a result.
My Oncologist is excellent and we have tried various things to reduce the hot flushes. I am now on Provera (Medroxyhydroprogesterone) and that seems to be working. However I recently change from 3 monthly Prostrap injection to a 6 monthly Decapeptyl and things have gone backwards. My hot flushes have increased and my bladder control has got worse.
My question is has anyone else had this experience when changing from Prostrap to Decapeptyl. Or indeed with Decapeptyl generally
