My name is Shalu and I am a Health Information Officer here at Prostate Cancer UK.
We are currently updating the real life stories section on our website and are looking to speak with men who have experienced urinary side effects following prostate cancer treatment.
This might include:
- Leaking urine
- urgency or frequency
- use of pads, medication, or other treatments.
Taking part would involve a one-to-one Zoom or Teams call with myself, at a time that suits you. During the call, we’d talk through your diagnosis, treatment, the urinary side effects you experienced, and how these have affected daily life. Your story would then be written up and shared with you for approval before anything is published.
We know these can be difficult topics to talk about, but many men have told us they find it helpful to hear real experiences from others.
