Waiting time for prescribed SomaCorrect Xtra VED?

Early days, on HT nearly 3 months with radiotherapy due around Easter hopefully.
Only had brief appt with ED pump clinic on Xmas eve , they advised to take prescription to a large Tesco pharmacy as they can order to avoid long wait   but that has been ignored by GP and SomaCorrect Xtra now appears to have ordered/prescribed by GP (I see online) earlier this month,  via iMEDicare Ltd and eventually  my usual  local nominated pharmacy.

I am expecting some tablets to go along with that so I can start the penile prehab/rehab.

Question is , how long have people had to wait from prescription ordering  to  collection?

Hi Patrick

It was fifteen years ago I was prescribed SOMAerect and it arrived within a week.

Unfortunately but luckily I have been successfully using VEDs for many years to maintain our sex life. I would be happy to help if needed. I have a training video which I can let you view if you email me on: [email protected] or a private message via this site.

About 3 days at my regular Boots.

iMEDicare is the exclusive importer, from which the pharmacies order it. A large pharmacy like Boots might keep a few in stock I suppose, but not in individual stores.

However, the SomaCorrect is a more specialist device than the SomaErect which is usually prescribed. The SomaCorrect is for correcting Peyronie's Disease (curvature of the erect penis). It consists of a SomaErect plus some extra cylinders, but it might not be a stock item due to lower demand and hence longer order time.

I haven't got Peyronie's Disease (at least not yet) but the SomaCorrect is what the Ed clinic specified and what the online GP prescription also shows as "approved" . The SomaCorrect Xtra 317-5593 and the SomaCorrect (peyronie's only) 313-1653 have different codes.
I'm going to collect my Orgovyx repeat tomorrow at my local nominated chemist and will ask if anything else is on the way -
they better not have received it and not notified me specially as I haven't go the tadalafil to go with it yet and not showing online.

Well I today went to collect my 2 months repeat for Orgovyx and lo and behold it was there as well - online the prescription was requested/ordered on Dec 31st but no one saw fit to tell me it was ready to collect !
Also I still have to chase them up for the accompanying tadalafil which still hasn't been prescribed.
