Pathogy results through

Hi All,

An update and question,

Just received my pathology results by letter. I did get a phone call from the surgeon, a few weeks ago to tell me it was good news but I wanted to wait until I had the written results.

RARP Nov 12th 2025

Gleason remained 3+4

Negative margins

Staging went from T2a to T2c which I believe means it was on both lobes

PSA satisfactory 0.03.

I thought the surgeon had said the PSA was undetectable but there is no < sign on the 0.03, also the satisfactory seems to suggest, it could have been better.

I am glad of the operation and results but still have a little grey cloud because of this.

Is 0.03 a normal result after a RARP?

Hi Tony,

I took a look at your profile and it gives no history of psa. Was the psa test on the day of the operation?  It can take several weeks to go down.

Also it's better to find out what undetectable is at your hospital as it could be <0.01 to <0.03.  He did say it's undetectable so maybe it's <0.03 but they don't use the <.  Some write it like that, GPs especially.

All the best

Peter

Sorry Peter,

My original PSA was 3.5 with a Gleason 3+4 and T3a
