With my limited medical knowledge here is my theory….. catheter removed a bit too quickly for my liking, sat in the waiting toom and testicular ache started to build over 10m. Thought I’d go for a walk to loosen up but that brought lightheadedness and called a nurse. Back on a bed and temperature dropped to 34, I’d taken around 250ml of water at that time and nurses gave me a cup of tea to warm me up. I think the quick filling of bladder then worsened the vasovagal incident (what they are putting it down to), lower half shaking started before flank pain in both sides. After a bit of deliberation doctor thought correctly reinserting a catheter would drain the bladder and remove the trigger and he was right, within seconds symptoms went.
As you can imagine anxious about 2nd attempt this Friday, needless to say my request will be to remove slow and gentle monitor vitals and slow fluid intake which I’d need to pause if similar symptoms appear
Anyone else had a similar experience?
