Hi

i I have recently had a full blood count including a Psa test, I opened my nhs app to see it in coloured writing instead of black like the other results saying abnormal my Serum prostate antigen level is 0.92 Ug/l which say is low, anyone know why this would come back abnormal please, I suffer with health anxiety and worried about it.

thanks for reading

That does seem a "normal" reading to me. If I look at the graphs of some of my blood counts, the line jumps everywhere. This is because they have used different units for test results at different times, sometimes out by a factor of 100. They also labeled some of mine as "free PSA" when it was actually "total PSA". If it says abnormal then best check with your GP, but don't be surprised if it is turns out it is an admin error, rather than an actual problem.

It sounds like they have the normal range programmed incorrectly.
It's normally given as 0-3, or 0-4, or 0-6, etc, depending on your age.
Does it say what they regard as the normal range?

There is no "too low".  0.92 is fine for your age.

However, do check with your GP in case you've misunderstood it or they've fed it in wrongly.
