Hi folks. I expected side effects and can cope with the hot flashes and a bit of vagueness. The part I find hard is restless legs and spasms during sleep. Have they become less frequent the longer you are on this treatment? Has your GP recommended any treatment? Thanks.

Paul , I had to stop the apalutamide to get the blood pressure under control. When I restarted the apalutamide I only took two tablets 120 mg, I get virtually no side effects at that dose. This was all done in conjunction with the oncologist. The main side effects when on the full dose was hot flushes fatigue and brain fog. Been on decapeptyl and apalutamide for around a year.

Thanks Chris

Thanks for the reply Chris. I have the flushes and brain fog as well, it's the restless legs and spasms in my shoulders that I am having a problem with. Not getting a lot of sleep but my psa has dropped from 11.1 to 0.14 in 6 weeks so it is something I will have to put up with and see where it goes.
