Hi everyone,
My name is Kavita Tailor and I’m the Sexual Wellbeing Service Manager at Prostate Cancer UK. If you or your partner has experienced any sexual wellbeing side effects following prostate cancer treatment, we’d really like to hear about your experience.
We would also particularly like to encourage Black men and gay men to take part, and are keen to have strong representation from these communities within the workshop.
Why?
As I begin designing the new Prostate Cancer UK sexual wellbeing service, I want to work closely with men who have lived experience and their partners. The aim is to understand what would make the service truly equitable, engaging, accessible, and fit for purpose.
How do I get involved?
We’re running two workshops:
Men with lived experience workshop
Date: Friday 8th May
Time: 10:30am – 2:30pm
Location: Prostate Cancer UK, Fourth Floor, The Counting House, 53 Tooley Street, London, SE1 2QN
Partners workshop
Date: Tuesday 5th May
Time: 10:30am – 2:00pm
Location: Virtual Microsoft Teams
If you’re interested in participating, or have any questions about this opportunity, please email me directly at [email protected]
What we’ll provide
- Everyone gets a £50 M&S gift card as a thank you for taking part
- Those attending the in-person workshop, will also receive travel reimbursement and lunch and refreshments, including tea and coffee, throughout the day
Thank you in advance for sharing your interest and for sharing your experiences. Your input is invaluable and will help to shape the design of the new Prostate Cancer UK sexual wellbeing service.
