Travelling with Invicorp

Hi,

My wife and I are happy users of Invicorp.  One small limitation is the need to store the phials in the fridge until one hour before use.  This does mean that holiday fun can be limited.  Has anyone had any success with the sort of travel cases that diabetics can get for their insulin, or anything similar?  I'm conscious of the danger of overcooling it (which, experience has taught me, can reduce its effectiveness) or allowing it to warm up (which the instructions warn against).

Many thanks in advance!

How about, before you go put a steel thermos flask full of water in the fridge to cool. Then put the viles of Invicorp25 in the flask in your hold luggage. Or just a cool bag with an ice pack would last while you travel, then it can go as hand luggage

Worth a try

Cheers
Bill

Hello, LitespeedRX.

Initially I thought your username was a link to a gaming link. 🙂 I must be getting paranoid about the increased number of scam posts weve been getting.😳

Here's a link to a previous conversation.

There is no rush to use the drug after taking it from the fridge. In the information leaflet it says up to 24 hours.

Thanks Adrian and Bill. It does indeed say that up to 24 hours out of the fridge is OK...I had read that previously as one hour. That could have made a difference to our recent short break for our wedding anniversary! Duh. Also useful to read Adrian's comment in the other linked thread that you have used Invicorp "days after being out of the fridge and it's still worked for me".

I had considered using a flask in the fridge. Maybe the flask could go in the freezer to stay cold a bit longer, but I would wrap the vials in tissue or something to protect them from freezing.

Thanks for the link in the other conversation that tells me I can take hypodermic syringes in hand luggage. I had assumed they would be banned and have to go in the hold. So that is useful.
