I find impacting this news difficult. I am scared and feel numb.  We do not have children and no family close by.

Sorry for what you're both going through.

I don't know where you're being treated, but it might be worth asking for a second opinion from somewhere like the Royal Marsden, not so much for the second opinion, but to find if they are aware of any relevant trials.

Also, there are a couple of support groups which might be relevant:

Living Well with Advanced Prostate Cancer

National Prostate Cancer Partners Support Group (for you)

I’m sorry for your partner’s diagnosis, I can’t help but pushing you up the list in the hope someone else can . It can be pretty quiet at the weekend . This website has a wealth of information and very informative people .

Sending you all the best .

So sorry to read about your husbands diagnosis.

I cant imagine how you must both be feeling.

My older brother has a similar prognosis and it has been a very difficult time for the whole family.

Im sure there are people who will be able to offer you some better information and advice on a way to move forward.

Take care of each other and find services local to you for support and guidance.

Hi Elizabeth.

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's disease and prognosis. My heart goes out to you both.

I hate to think of you feeling isolated, perhaps your GP, local hospital or MacMillans. Can offer you contacts for local support?

Our site and specialist nurses also offer good support.
