Hi, I'm Steve from the West Midlands. Diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2025 after a PSA result of 5.83. Had an MRI and biopsy which confirmed diagnosis. Consultant said it is the type that is unlikely to grow much or spread so just having blood tests 3 monthly for now.

I had been dreading the biopsy but it was a pain free experience and didn't take long to return to normal. However, since the biopsy I am experiencing a slight dribble of what appears to be seminal fluid every now and then. Noticable in my underwear. Not sure if this is normal.

Hello Steve

Sorry to read the reason for joining us here.

I was diagnosed and had prostatectomy 15 years ago. I had a similar experience before my surgery, particularly if I were sexually excited.

I too  live in the West Midlands. Being diagnosed with prostate cancer can be a lonely experience. If you want a chat we don't live all that far from Walsall.

Thanks for your reply. I was not getting the classic symptoms of prostate problems but at the age of 67 I requested a PSA check just out of curiosity. I can get some leakage at anytime. Sometimes if I go for a walk or doing something physical.
