Hi Gents, hope you're all well. I stumbled across this forum whilst goggling symptoms. Glad I found it. I have a similar kind of issue going on, blood in my semen for around 2 weeks now...Bright red, so fresh blood by the looks of it, and then i will have blood in my urine that follows said event (10 min later, an hour later but always there) usually looks like quite alot as the "whole stream" will be red and can occasionally contain some small clots, but urine will clear up completely after that I til the next time I ejaculate... does anyone else experience this? There seems to be a few guys on here with very similar symptoms to what I have, I can only assume its because urine obviously has a very similar "path" to semen for leaving the body, just concerns me a little that its not mentioned by anyone else.
For a bit of background im 36, I too have been hitting the gym particularly hard recently approx 3 months before this started. Lost a lapprox 5 stone over a 18 months through dieting, n finally getting into decent shape. No other symptoms really, occasionally a bit of a bloated feeling like my pants are too tight, but not painful as such, and it comes and goes. Lost my sister to breast cancer that managed to spread 12 months ago (she was only 40 and needless to say i am still heartbroken, and now quite worried) Been to see GP had my bloods done and psa came back at 1.1 which I believe is okay? He dosentreally give much away. Been referred to urology but awaiting an appointment.
I suppose my questions are (if anyone finds this post) and could put my mind at ease as im worried sick about it
Do you experience blood in your urine after an incident of bloody semen?
If so are small clots present?
Do you always have blood in your semen when your going through this? (i.e mine is every time without fail, not just 2/3 times if that makes sense)
How long do symptoms like this continue for in your experience, days/weeks/months?
Has anyone had it confirmed that they've managed to "mess themselves up" so to speak by hitting the gym hard? (Im very much hoping this is what has happened to myself)
Is there anything anyone has been advised to do that they found helped? - I.e a period of Abstinence, no gym, ibuprofen, drink more water etc, kind of willing to try anything at this point to make it stop, my gp isnt the best (appreciate his hands are pretty tied until he knows whats going on to be fair)
Anyway, appreciate anyone taking the time to read this rambling, even more so if you have anything too add. Cheers- Paul
