Hi Pungle, sorry to hear things are not going as good as we would hope, after lots of treatments, I have been on the decapeptyl and apalutamide, for a year, so far so good. Are there any plans for focal treatment to the spine. Best wishes for the future.

Thanks Chris

Hi Chris, thanks for reply,I am on prostap and apalutamide now but psa has started to rise, just had the nurse tell me I am having a psma pet scan as soon as they can get me in.ihad a ct scan and a  nuclear scan in the last month they are just now giving me the psma to see in more detail I think.probably chemo next because the nodes in my lung.

The PSMA PET scan will show up which bits of cancer are not being suppressed by the hormone therapy. It sounds like you might have several more spots than you knew about before, and if those are active, they will most likely look to chemo to try and reset the cancer back to being hormone sensitive (controlled by the hormone therapy). Wishing you the best and keeping fingers crossed.

Thanks Andy,

Just arrived back from hospital and the only new nodes that were found were on the lung but psma may find more as you say.could be a while before I get a scan and the wait for chemo so try and put it out of mind a bit
