More info.

Age 70. On active surveillance, since diagnosis February 2026. Gleason 6, 3 + 3. Confined to prostate.

Only negative symptom - frequent urination at night 3-6 times. I tolerate this.

Was offered a biopsy 3 days ago, but I prefer MRI.

Anyone similar situation?

Thank you.

Height/weight: 6.1 (1.85) 74kg

In my experience, both MRI and biopsy were done. My MRI result was that cancer was highly likely (PIRADS 5) , but subsequent biopsy confirmed the diagnosis.

I also had a Pirads 5 which indicated probable cancer.

Actually I'd be interested to know about people's experience of rising and falling PSA scores when on active surveillance.

Thank you for any related experiences.
