Radiotherapy and Tadalafil low dose

Husband starts his 20 sessions of RT next week. He's had the planning scan and coped OK with that. Trying to keep hydrated very difficult in temperatures over 32° but trying with that.

In the way we find best I've done some looking up what might help alleviate any symptoms or side effects brought on with the RT.  I present it all to him and he makes his mind up.

It does seem Tadalafil low dose could have a beneficial effect not only for ED but for LUTS . Husband had an appointment today to ask GP for that

She was very positive. Said she'd heard of it but wasn't sure if he met the practices criteria. She did say she was happy to give him a private prescription anyway.  She said she ask and get back to him.

She was good to her word and 30 mins later messaged him to say it was approved. The prescription had already gone to Boots.

A reasonable result in the real meaning of the word.

Good that you got the Tadalafil.

It's a beneficial protection when on hormone therapy, more so than the radio therapy. My GP put me on it the moment he realised I'd been put on hormone therapy. Sadly, it's not that easy for everyone.
