My husband has advanced stage 4 , Gleason 9.
By the time he was diagnosed, his whole pelvis was black with bony mets.
Apalutamide did work for about 6 months.
He then did 6 courses of docetaxcel chemotherapy. Unfortunately it didnt work and PSA went from 17 on 2nd Jan to 112 on 2nd June. They are no longer monitoring as the bony metastases are progressing.
Has anyone had docetaxcel fail but cabazitaxel work?
