Too randy!

I had a robotic prostatectomy 12 months ago but I've not recovered full erections. I take daily Tadalafil and use the pump to achieve a functional erection. However in the past six months or so I've been increasingly 'randy' and my penis, both soft or hard, is sensitive and I gain pleasure from touch although I don't come to an orgasm. Has anyone else experience of increased sexual urges and randiness after similar treatment? It sounds fun but my wife doesn't understand my change in behaviour and is not sympathetic.

Hello, mate.

I'm no expert but I suspect there aren't that many blokes who following RARP have a libido surge.

Initially, after surgery, I still felt as horny as before, but was devastated that I couldn't perform. Perhaps your increased libido is a  psychological thing, of wanting more of what you can't have? If you see what I mean.

Weirdly, now penile injections enable me to perform, I don't feel as fruity. This is because by the time, I've warmed the wife up. Got out of bed. Got the drug out out of the fridge. Faffed around preparing the injection. Spent ten minutes massaging the injection site to get the desired rigidity. Then traipsed back up the stairs, she's usually fallen to sleep. 🙂

You need to go to the fridge in anticipation before warming her up, just saying!

😂 There goes the voice of experience.

I have, in the past, prepared the injection first and left it on the bed side table, but I think she must have a needle phobia. Just the sight of the syringe brings on one of her blinding headaches. 🫤

Hi msiyah,

I'm very grateful and interested in your well informed reply. You've given me and other guys here much to think about. Thank you.
