Hi, first time on site as someone looking for advice dealing with night time visits to the bathroom. I am 72 and have had to Turp' opertions  PSA levels in the 0.03 levels after 2 years so far of monitoring and now down to 1 yearly test/GP visit. My issue is that i am now visiting the Bathroom up to 3 to 5 times a night. Taking Desopresson from GP to assist but its not working with broken sleep most nights leaving me tired during tge day.  Looking for any advice from others on hows or different medication tgat can be used. Thanks.

I would be inclined to nag your GP for a urology referral or if you can afford it go and see a urologist privately. Clearly there is something going on with retention that needs sort6

Thank you for your responce, however i have a yearly hospital meeting with a urology practice nurse to discuss this with the same result. They have said that i have had two operation with the 2nd one to save "in thier words,to remove the scaring to make the pipe bigger". They have told me the only option left is bowtox, which i am on the waiting list. I will discuss this again next week when i see them. I need some action as life is not good with getting up a night time.
