We have a team of moderators who keep the Online Community safe, welcoming and supportive.

What we do:

  • Approve, edit or remove new conversation requests
  • Monitor conversations to ensure they follow our Community Rules
  • Respond to reports from members
  • Respond to queries, help users navigate the community and find relevant support
  • Escalate safeguarding concerns where appropriate

What we cannot do:

  • Provide medical information or treatment advice
  • Replace professional healthcare guidance
  • Offer emergency support

If you need medical information or support, you can contact our Specialist Nurses on 0800 074 8383 (Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, Wednesday 10am-5pm). You can also contact your GP or call NHS 111. If you need emergency support, please call 999 or go to your nearest A&E.

Policies and guidelines are reviewed regularly to ensure they remain up to date and effective. This structure ensures that moderation decisions are consistent and aligned with organisational values and safeguarding responsibilities.

If you see a post you feel is inappropriate, offensive, or otherwise violates our Community Rules or Terms and conditions, please click the 'Report' button (the exclamation mark) to send a report directly to the moderation team.

If you're having trouble using the site, want to alert us to some other problem, or want to ask a question, you can email us at [email protected].
