New clinical trial results at European Society for Medical Oncology

I am trying to keep up with the clinical trial results for advanced/metastatic PC. The results are often released at big congresses annually so I scour the internet during and after those meetings. The new Phase I results for HLD-0915 (akd "Halda") were released at European Society for Medical Oncology this week and are being hailed as amazing and it seems like the next steps of clinical trials have been opened. I cannot find a link to sites like Adrian often posts from but here is one: https://www.biospace.com/drug-development/esmo-2026-j-j-delivers-immaculate-early-data-for-prostate-cancer-drug-from-halda

The Phase I was a small number of patients but this should give a lot of hope. I hope it is approved or accessible to us in a trial by the time we need it, but for those men/partners newly diagnosed with advanced PC the timeline is promising. Some people on here might be eligible for the current trials (at Royal Marsden).

Here is a link I found for the UK trial: https://www.hra.nhs.uk/planning-and-improving-research/application-summaries/research-summaries/a-study-of-hld-0915-in-patients-with-mcrpc/

Thanks for your thoughts guys and have read the links,it's weird knowing that your one of those 38 patients they talk about in there results and I feel so so lucky being in the right place at the right time when this trial was released.

I'm still doing well and will update my profile and thread next week when I have more results come through from my latest blood tests.

Thanks again Phil

It's the trial that our cancer warrior Phil1969 has been on. I think it would be fair to say, that Phil and most of his supporters have been truly amazed by his results. Long may they continue.

Here's another link by the manufacturers rightfully blowing their own trumpet.

And here's a link about recruitment to the trial. I'm unsure whether there are vacancies. It seems the trial is open until August 2028?

To me, you 38, are as brave as the 300 at Thermopylae. 👏
