I am not surprised at Jamie's caution and maintaining HT is a safe route to go. It could not allow the testosterone to do some real damage as that would undo the good work. Hope you are beginning to get used to the HT again and you are feeling ok.

Hi Si

You always speak highly of Jamie and I guess if he feels that strongly you need to trust his judgement. You will have more bloods in 3 months I guess and that will show if anything has changed?

Looking forward to Leicester, I am on a low carb diet at the moment ( need to lose 10kg for my next challenge) however will be definitely having the weekend off and will be very thirsty by then!

Hi Simon,

That Jamie has done wonders with you, and you have done wonders with you as well. Hopefully any side issues are relatively minor and worth putting up with for the longer term benefits?

Thought i better update my thread as nobody can see my bio, PCAUK are on it, only been 4 weeks think they must be waiting for the money to come in from the London marathon.

Anyway bloods last week PSA <0.01 ALP 40 Testosterone <0.4 nearly gone again !!!!

So staying off of the Abbi and steroids for a bit longer.

So nearly two years of undetectable PSA think i need to write a book http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif

Brilliant news Si, bloods as always are well" SUPER WHAT MORE CAN I SAY".

As for the Fosters diet what I would say is don't knock it untill you have tried it, it knocks the Turmeric into a cocked hat. Sounds like my kinda food chuck in some Rib Eye and we are SMOKIN.http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif

I am going to miss seeing all of you Guys at MOT's I so wanted to be there but as I am the only Mid woof on call I will be needed here buuuuuuuuuut if the puppies come early then who knows I may well make a surprise apperance, watch this space.

Si I am so happy to see you posting.. I keep telling everyone that your profile has a super bug PCUK can't seem to fix.

Personally I think your profile has been hijacked by the "do you know who I am ?" brigade either that or aliens wanting to stop your survival secrets from getting out.!!

Now I know poor Jamie is going to need moral support at MOTS as you will be saying no more zoladex or denusimab for me for at least 6 months. I think he was secretly willing your testosterone level to stay static so he could avoid the Si strong talk... you really do defy medical logic.

Hope you are having a fun weekend even if the weather here is pants.

"party in the park" was one reason for staying off the HT, it was our way of thanking the school for the way they looked after the twins during my diagnosis and Chemo. they leave in July to start there journey through secondary school and thanks to them both girls got excepted into the local Grammar school.

so July 17th is the big party, on the Thursday setting up all the donated marquees, Friday morning set up 25ft bar, pimms tent, 5 bouncy castles, bungee run, 45ft air mountain, hog roast roast, BBQ and stocks to put the teachers in http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif and much more. then at 10pm take it all down.

It's an amazing story.
Your oncologist should be writing a paper on you (and I'm not kidding).

I don't think Steve is going judging by his fb post, of course Chris, and Shirley, Paul and Country boy plus Chris and Dawn will be there from Newark gang so I am sure between us we can give Lyn a good ribbing about the poem recital and others who have used the Newark thread to communicate (Topgun if you can hear me wherever you may be the latest posts were nothing to do with me and we have not gone past one page for a do in ages!!)

No it is not a carrot cake.

If you need help setting up I can come over during the day Thursday and Friday as a voluntary helper.xx

Forgot about Matilda ... we can chat about the party at Leicester.

What fantastic news, you really are an amazing man. I expect having a gorgeous wife and adorable children helps (at least that's what I tell my own Superman😇).

So sorry I can't come to MOS this year, we shall miss it, every year so far the sun has shone brightly and we have been sun burnt but not noticed due to copious amounts of wine (that's me now John, he's not much of a boozer), so not sure about the Fosters cure, but hey, it's worth a try.

So annoyed to miss Jamie's talk too, is anyone going to video or record it?
