Thank you for your post mojo1943. We would like to add a note of caution for folks who may take the claims on that website at face value. Some of the information provided on the video on this link is inaccurate and some claims made by Dr Brownstein are not based on a high level of peer-reviewed, scientific evidence.

Ultimately, although Dr Brownstein talks about free information, there are links to buy his books and further subscriptions. The URL provided also includes  a 'PROMO CODE' which is presumably an affiliate marketing tag to encourage people to share the information for someones benefit - as we don't allow such advertising on the community, we've removed the promo code from the URL.

Part of the video talks about 5-alpha reductase inhibitors (drugs to treat BPH). For anyone who is concerned about the affect these drugs have on the risk of prostate cancer, the information Dr Brownstein  provides is out of date. The most reliable information regarding the trial he refers to is found here;

If you have any concerns about the information provided in the video, please don't hesitate contacting our specialist nurses on 0800 074 8383.

You can find more information about diet, healthy living and prostate cancer here;

many thanks Mods for such a good handle on Dr B site - Ok so onto this nugget = it seems to be good news

MEN with prostate cancer have new hope of avoiding unnecessary surgery after Melbourne researchers for the first time unlocked the secret of which tumours are likely to turn deadly.

The discovery may prevent thousands of men having their prostates removed each year for suspected cancers that doctors are unable to classify as lethal or not.

Researchers from Cancer Council Victoria’s Cancer Epidemiology Centre and TissuPath Specialist Pathology identified three biomarkers that can be used to separate men at a high risk of dying from prostate cancer from those whose cancer detection is unlikely to cause a major problem.
