I was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate and put on Tamsulosin and Finasteride . One of the known side effects is that on ejaculation there is a diminution or absence of semen after orgasm. I have found this to be the case but within about 30 seconds I get a discharge of dark red liquid, which I assume is blood though it is not a fresh red colour but more rusty red. This leakage continues afterwards and the amount of discharge is probably equal to a teaspoon full. As I am overseas I cannot see my doctor back in the UK but wonder if anyone else has experienced this and if it is something to worry about.
