Well Done Lord Archer!

Good to see Lord Archer going public and big time too, advising the public of his prostate cancer experience and pushing the PSA test for men. Well done to the old boy. More media, more awareness, more lives saved.

Hi Bazza, I am with you all the way to the Leeds with that one.

It was refreshing to both read his article and to see him on TV.

I am having my biopsy tomorrow and it has made me feel better

Just read his story Bazza and he puts it across very well but then why wouldn't he :)

Good luck tomorrow Raymond the thought of the biopsy is a lot worse than the actual procedure

I read Jeffrey Archer's Sunday mail article too on the internet. A mirror image of my own experience, same hospital and so on. I just hope that he is right and he actually has 'beaten cancer'.

Interesting that it was his wife who helped give him a push as is often the experience with men. Despite all the publicity about PCa and some high profile cases reported on, many men still seem unaware or unreceptive. Certainly treatments have been refined and greatly improved over recent years but best opportunity for cure comes with early diagnosis.
