Hi Kev,

You're still doing amazing in every respect! I still dip in and out of the forum to see how people are doing.

Four months since my Allan passed away he had a rubbish diagnosis very similar to yours and he still managed 5 and a half years and was well for most of it.

Just goes to show there's hope and progress coming along for other men.

I still dip in and out of your book too!

Kerp on going Kev

Thank you so much for writing . I am so sorry to read about Allan , too many good men are taken by this disease and more so the wreckage left behind for their families .

i am not so much in the support group loop nowadays as I kind of have survivors guilt when so many are not as lucky as me to have so many extra years .

i ran the Brighton marathon last week, have the London in 2 weeks , both 10 years since I ran them on weeks 13 and 15 of chemo , I never thought I would be alive now let alone still running so will keep on fundraising and spreading awareness as I feel that’s the least I can do for the memory of those no longer here and those who may be here in years to come . My book “Dead Man Running” still has people touched in any way by prostate cancer contacting me as it reminds them to live their best life every day .

i hope that you too can find enjoyment amongst your sad loss , thanks agin for writing .

Dream like you have forever, live like you only have today Avatar is me doing the 600 mile Camino de Santiago May 2019

Thankyou for your kind words.

I only understood Allan's approach to his life and his illness after he died (stay positive no matter what) and only now am I trying to apply that to my life!

I'm going to Edinburgh later in summer with his sister to see the PCUK memorial. I will love him and miss him for the rest of my life but like you I want others and their families to survive and benefit from better treatments etc.

You keep on doing what you're doing. You're amazing.
