Hi All,

I have developed a throbbing pain in my perineal area and back pain. It started after a DRE following a raised PSA of 5.2. I had a biopsy 10 days ago and hope to have results soon. Sitting down and driving is very uncomfortable. Any ideas what this may be?

You need to check with a medic you don't have an infection which is not uncommon after biopsy even if you did take the course of antibiotics.

Thanks Ray.

The only thing I know for certain is that I have an enlarged prostate. This throbbing pain has been with me since the DRE at the hospital. I will go and see my GP tomorrow.
