PSA risen

My latest test showed PSA of 0.23 and Testosterone of 15. Previous test 6 months ago was 0.04 and 2 respectively.

I finished EBRT in March 2017 and had my last Prostap injection in September 2018.

So it’s not surprising it has risen and I WAS told it would. The hospital is booking me in for another test in 3 months as well as in 6 months for which I already have the request form

Should I be concerned yet?

No. You still have a prostate and an increase in your PSA is entirely to be expected. It would only be a matter of concern were it to rise above 2.0, so you're way off that.

Best wishes,

Chris

3 months later PSA is now 0.26, so that’s all OK.
Merry Xmas to all.

Hi Westyman

Great news, as a matter of interest is everything back to normal after 14 months off the prostap

ie hot flushes, libido, fatigue and muscle aches

Thanks

Hi! Yes, pretty much. I never had fatigue but the other stuff is back to normal. I now shave every day instead of two days and my hair is greasier again. With the nuked Prostate I get dry orgasms.
