Sorry to hear that. A couple of years ago that would have been the only treatment, now a days if only a few mets, sometimes rt can be done, but it does depend on where the previous RT was. If you can stand the treatment I am sure you will live a few more years. A friend of mine died last week from stomach cancer. He refused treatment for very sound personal reasons, he knew the consequences and accepted them.

Unfortunately it is often a choice between length of life and quality of life. There are a number of people here who have declined treatment in favour of qualify of life and that's a decision I respect. It's no help to say that but at the end of the day whether or not to accept treatment is a decision for you and your family to take. Have you spoken to the PCUK nurses about the options available to you? They are always knowledgeable and helpful.
