Hi Suzz.
Kev's results came back undetectable. I hope mine will be the same. I'll post them when I get them, which should hopefully be today or tomorrow. I'm worried that the hiccup over taking my last PSA may have affected the speed of getting my results. Before, a GP would simply input the results onto their systmonline and I could access them immediately by logging into my patient record. I'm concerned that they'll now longer do this and I'll have to ring up for them or even worse they be sent to the hospital which will delay things even longer.
Ollie's car racing was cancelled. The car wasn't passed fit to race. That suited me. He's too precious to me to be bombing around risking life and limb. I'd rather he sticks to football and goalkeeping where at least he's only got two posts that he can crash into.
The affect your hubby's diagnosis is having on you is perfectly normal. I'm sure most of us and our partners, have thought f**k you cancer and have secretly shed a tear or two. You're doing fine love.
As for a pizza picnic it sounds great to me. I remember doing my grandkids, when they were Albie's age, hot dogs which, I'd kept hot in a flask. They literally thought they were magic. π Plus we always take a packet of Jammie Dodgers or Oreos. We learnt that chocolate covered biscuits are FAR too messy in the hot weather.
Usually our daughter preaches to me to feed them healthy food, but what kid enjoys a raw carrot and sugar free yoghurt picnic?
Sometimes I have to bite my tongue when my kids lecture me on how to look after their kids. I get a good bollocking for risking their health by feeding them a few extra calories, yet it's okay for them to strap them in a metal box and get him to hurtle around a field at break neck speeds. Oh the irony! π
