4 weeks post op

Hi everyone- my first post but I have read hundreds which have been really helpful to me and my partner.
I have been really lucky and not had any incontinence issues apart from the occasional small drip!
my question is: has anybody else suffered from a sharp pain above the Perinium ? It hurts to sit down but is there most of the time.  It’s similar to the pain I had just after the biopsy. It comes and goes but is enough to keep me awake at night.
I presume it’s just normal after the op but it doesn’t seem to be getting better. Perhaps I should be more patient!?

You haven't said when you had the RP. Certainly I had a pain in the perinium when the catheter was in and for a short time after it was removed. It might be a sign you have a urinary tract infection, so it might be worth mentioning it to your GP or nurse specialist.

Hello mate,

Welcome to the forum. It's common to get such pains for several weeks after surgery.
