advice on treatment

Been on Active Surveillance since June 2022. 3 monthly PSA Tests. Recently PSA has crept up - latest result 18.3. Being referred back to Oncology to see what they think. Possible they may now recommend some treatment but they were dubious about radiotherapy for me 2 years ago so not sure thats suitable. Have read that sometimes just Hormone Therapy alone is done. Anyone have experience of this please.

Hi Geoff.

I've read your previous posts and see that in June 2022, your PSA was 12 and that you were Gleason 7 (3+4). I can't see any cancer staging.

Your heart and other health conditions have obviously affected treatment options for your cancer.

I'm not medically trained, but I believe if your other health conditions rule out surgery or radiotherapy, you can have hormone treatment on its own. It will not cure your cancer but it can help control it.

I'm sure that your cancer team will do their best for you.

Good luck mate.
